An easy and effective solution for adjusting the gamma level of your screen.

Generally, calibrating your monitor is a tedious job. Even with the display calibration function that was introduced in Windows 7, things don’t get much easier.

QuickGamma was developed to offer an alternative solution for this task.

QuickGamma is a simple tool that will allow you to calibrate your monitor with the help of the Norman Koren's gamma images. The program allows you to modify all the values (red, green and blue) at once or to change them individually.

The latest version of QuickGamma will only work with Windows 7 and Windows 8. Once you’ve achieved the result, the program will automatically save your settings as the default profile for the monitor.

Although the graphical interface of QuickGamma can be considered quite intuitive, it has a big disadvantage. You can only increase or decrease the values in increments of one.

Furthermore, you cannot manually insert the desired values, so you will have to waste some time even if you already know the exact number that is needed.

Personally, I think that QuickGamma is a good solution for everyone in need of such a program. This minimalistic tool comes without a price tag, so, there’s nothing to lose by trying it out.
